English Camp at Truth Church

This summer our youth co-workers at Truth church asked us to organize a 5-week English camp for unchurched kids. So Kelley paired up with Rick, one of our long-time friends and co-workers, as well as our new arrivals TJ, Ben, and Beth (recent CIU grads :). Together they taught about 15 Taiwanese kids some simple English related to everyday topics such as talking about food, drinks, and what they want to be when they grow up.As the course went on and the kids opened up more, our English teaching team taught them more about topics related to our faith, such as praying to Jesus.

Everyone had a fun time learning and chatting in English. Last week a student, Kelly, gave teacher Kelley a handmade poster, to thank her and the other team members for their investment into her life during the course.
