Our ministry here in Taipei is divided into these main areas:

3E is a place for seekers to learn English and make friends with us, and with other Taiwanese Christians. In each season of 3E ALPHA, we embark upon a 11-week spiritual journey in which we explore the Christian Faith.

Pastor Moses has asked us to lead the Western community at Truth Church. Our responsibilities for this include:

• Leading an English Cell Group each Monday night at our house. Our cell group members are all native English speakers attending our Taiwanese church.
• Leading the team of English co-workers at our 3E ALPHA Ministry.
• Taking care of new Western foreigners visiting and joining our Taiwanese church.

Many of our new friends that join our 3E ALPHA Course accept Christ and join our church through this ministry. These new believers need to be taught and discipled.

The sole fact that we are Westerners put us in a unique position to share the gospel with our Taiwanese friends. People here are hungry to learn about the Christian faith, and often accept Christ because of Christians who have invested in their lives.

Chinese Language Study

Apart from these ministries we are both enrolled in full time Chinese classes at the National Taiwan University. As of March 2010, we can speak, understand, read, and write over 2200 Chinese characters. We praise God for helping our Chinese sills grow daily, and we have many Taiwanese friends who help us practice and improve.
