Our support funds are processed through Shepherd's Staff Mission Facilitators. Here is a summary of their purpose statement, from their website:

"Shepherd's Staff Mission Facilitators is a full-service missions ministry that exists to glorify God by assisting local churches and their members fulfill the Lord’s commission to make disciples of all nations. We are not a local church, but a tool, a “staff”, if you will, available for use by the shepherd (hence the name, Shepherd’s Staff), and/or the leadership of a local fellowship. Our God-given, biblically based vision is brought into reality through our desire and ability to serve local churches and their missionaries..."

Currently our support need is $3,300 each month. We praise God that right now our monthly support is around $3,200.

Breakdown of expenses: $3,300 ongoing monthly support covers the following:

• Monthly Rent (about comparable to the cost of renting an apartment in a major US city)
• Ongoing Chinese classes (4 hours every week with a private tutor)
• Food and Groceries
• Transportation, health insurance, utilities, travel costs, and other miscellaneous expenses
• US taxes (15% of our paycheck is automatically deducted for taxes and Medicare)
• Savings for retirement, savings for kids' future college expenses, savings for flights and family vacations
• Shepherd's Staff Mission Facilitators Administration Fee (10% of our total incoming support), to cover their office expenses
