The past three Friday nights many people have filled the 4th floor large meeting room at Truth Church. Why? Because that is where our Bilingual Alpha Course takes place! We have had on average 40 non-believers each week, with last Friday being no exception. Our time kicked off by enjoying a great meal together, followed by a fun English speaking activity led by Hannah, called "Tasty Topics". This activity used M&M's and Skittles to get people sharing different things about themselves and their lives. Following the game, John and Julianne performed the 3rd part of their 10-week long skit. They do a great job each week of leading us into the evening's topic. Friday's topic was "Why Jesus had to Die" and was shared by Ellie. She did a super job of sharing personal testimonies, as well as other people's stories, to connect with the topic, making it more personal.

The final part of the evening was the small group discussion time. This is a special time as it gives each group a chance to share together, get to know one another more, and hopefully answer any questions the non-believers may have. So far the responses from the non-believers have been positive, and we continue to trust that the Lord will do great things in the weeks to come!!
