We had a great second week of the Alpha course.  A good number of people returned from the first week, and we were pleased to see continued enthusiasm

for the course.  We are also pleased to see that it the course is not just attended by young people. There are quite a few attendees who are a little more advanced in years!  The course is appealing to all ages.

After another great meal, we played a game called "Who Am I?"  Each person had a name placed on their forehead without knowing what that name was.  They then had to find out who they were by asking questions of their neighbors.  There was quite a collection of politicians, athletes, and pop singers at Truth Church Friday night!  After the game, Niall led the group in a couple of songs.  We are so blessed to have such talented musicians helping us in Alpha.

Rhys spoke on the topic of "Who is Jesus?"  He did so by looking at certain questions that were asked about Jesus by people living during Jesus time.  He answered these questions using things that Jesus either said or did.  Rhys also did a great job of getting the audience involved in asking the questions about Jesus and showing the confusion about Jesus during his day.  The talk provided a great introduction to people who may know very little, if anything, about who Jesus is.

Please continue in prayer for this coming Friday.  Pray that:

1.  God would give wisdom to those who will be leading the activities and the person who will be giving the talk.

2.  The Spirit will continue to work in the hearts of those who do not know God.
