Dear Friends,

We just got back from a great weekend retreat during which we really saw the Lord work among our new friends. The weekend's topic was "The person and work of the Holy Spirit", and we all benefited a great deal from the things our Pastor Moses, and his wife, Joyce, shared with us. After each message there was time for our 4 small groups to share together about what they had learned, and clarify any misunderstandings.

The 6 American co-workers that went along (Alicia, Rick, Erin, John, Kelley, and Erich) were responsible for 3 game times and 2 worship times. Here we are doing some planning...

The big game we planned was a relay race that involved all of us putting on masks of different famous people, and answering trivia questions about ourselves when the groups found us.

The highlight of the ALPHA Weekend happened Saturday evening, when we entered into a time of deep prayer ministry with our new friends. Among songs and prayer the Lord did a great work of opening all of our hearts to His love. Several of our new friends made decisions to follow Christ that night, and many were encouraged by the Holy Spirit, as He gave co-workers the wisdom to pray for the seeker's exact needs without having been told what they were.
