Erich and I are currently in Germany finishing up the last leg of our 2 1/2 month home assignment. The time has kept us busy, as we traveled to 4 different states in the US and then on to Germany. Much of our time in the US was spent visiting churches, supporters, family, and friends. We had the opportunity to speak about our life and ministry in Taiwan over 10 times to various age groups and in different settings. We reconnected with old friends and formed new relationships as well. One of the most exciting contacts that we made was during our time at our Alma Mater, CIU, where we met with a couple of soon-to-be graduated students who are making plans to move to Taiwan in the summer. They are wanting to get experience teaching English and also serve the Lord in a cross-cultural setting. We are very excited about these potential teammates and new friends!

While our time has been good, we both can't wait to be back on Taiwan soil again. We fly on the 18th from Frankfurt, Germany via Shanghai to Taipei.  We look ahead with anticipation to a new season of language learning, ministry in Truth Church, deepening relationships, and making new friends.
