Teaching Requirements

To obtain employment in Taiwan as an English teacher, you must have the following qualifications:

1. Be a Native English speaker, which means that English is your first language.
2. In order to be approved for an Alien Resident Visa (ARC) and Work Permit, you must hold a passport from the USA, Canada, UK, South Africa, Australia, or New Zealand. The Taiwanese government makes no exceptions here.
3. Have completed a 4-year Bachelor degree with any major. Again, there are no exceptions to this rule. If you are still in college, but are interested in joining us, we still welcome you to get in touch with us. But you will still need to first complete your Bachelor's degree before joining us.
