- Scriptures: We believe that the scriptures, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, are the very word of God. They are inspired by God, infallible in their original writings, the complete revelation of God’s will concerning salvation and the final authority for every Christian concerning faith and life.
- God: We believe there is only one perfect, almighty, triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are eternally coexistent personalities of the same essence.
- Jesus: We believe that Jesus is true God and true Man, that he was born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life. We believe in his substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.
- Holy Spirit: We believe in the personhood of the Holy Spirit, in His ministry of pointing to and glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ, in his convicting and regenerating sinful men and women and in His indwelling, sealing, empowering, guiding and instructing the believer in Godly living and service.
- Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God, fell from innocence and is, consequently, now in a state of total depravity and void of true spiritual life. We believe that only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life and a life pleasing to God be obtained.
- Justification: We believe in the justification of the sinner by grace through faith alone in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and his bodily resurrection.
- The Church: We believe that the church universal is composed of all true believers and that its members should assemble for worship, payer, fellowship and teaching with a view to being equipped to fulfill the Great commission.
- Eternity: We believe in the bodily resurrection of the believer to eternal blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
| If you decide to work with Crossing 7 Taiwan you must be in agreement with our statement of faith. Further, we believe that the Christian faith is set upon certain pillars of faith such as the doctrine of salvation through grace by faith alone. However, we believe that the Christian faith is much broader in terms of practice since little is said in the New Testament concerning specific practices. If you choose to work with us you must be willing and able to humble yourself and work with fellow believers whose practices may differ from your own and realize that we are all working for the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
